Kolossos Restaurant and Pizza

I found this place by mistake and I'm glad I did! My GPS malfunctioned so I angrily turned into their parking lot to fix my phone and I noticed kolossos so I went in to grab food why not. The staff was more then friendly and was so polite to my rambling, one even gave me directions to get back onto 84 which was very kind of him. Anyways, the food is fabulous even after being in the car for an hour and the fries are very good too and the fried pickles def hit the spot. I will visit again this time on purpose and I'll bring a friend or two to dine in. My mom would love the pizza. The ingredients are fresh they still got that snap that only fresh food gives. The pizza slice holds and won't flop dropping everything on top. The toppings are baked into the cheese so they won't fall off easily. The crust is very pleasant nice crunch and soft on the inside. The fries are actually flavorful? Like they didn't use normal oil to fry them they used the good stuff whatever that may be. And the pickles definitely hit the spot the batter wasn't clumpy or falling off the pickle slice it stayed on and wasn't soggy.Short. Excellent food. Even better staff. Def recommend. Try the fries. Gonna go on purpose with friends.

We moved to Stafford not too long ago and had been told there weren't any restaurants in the area that delivered. Decided to call Kolossus and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they do in fact deliver. Ordered a hawaiian pizza with bacon (a small b/c I am the only one who will eat it) , a cheese pizza and chicken caesar salad. Looked good, smelled good, pizza arrived hot and tasted delicious! Also the delivery guy was very polite and courteous. Will definitely order from them again!

Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Atmosphere is excellent. very clean. Prices are on par with this economy. I got a soda and a small sub and my son got a small pepperoni pizza. 30 bucks with tip.Con: Employees standing around using their cell phones and eating and waiting on customers without washing their hands.

Awesome pizza and grinders every time. Hard working family owners. Also very consistent with portions and the way the food is prepared. You don't have to guess if it will be good one day and not so good another. We and many friends believe it's the best pizza in Stafford CT.

Grand opening today, the place looks amazing. Extremely clean and well done. We got a chicken pesto burger and mushroom burger which were both excellent. Thank you for the great meal and Good luck!

Awesome food, friendly place. Best food in town

I absolutely love these guys! I was desperately anticipating their re opening. Missing them definitely made us fully obsessed. I tried every pizza shop anywhere remotely close…never was satisfied. Just made me miss Kolossos even more. This is literally the only restaurant I have found that makes their cream and cheese sauces with real butter. Every other Italian restaurant uses gallons of liquid margarine. Not only does it kill flavor it leaves a pool of oil as it separates from the cream or cheese on cooling. Leaving your leftovers ruined beside slamming your arteries full of trans fats.My mom was addicted to their salads and every Friday we would indulge her for family night! And they still have the best salads around too. For us there isn’t anything on the menu that isn’t fantastic! So happy to have them back open for family Fridays!
